Indu Sarkar Trailer Review By Farishtey Faroodi | Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari, Anupam Kher

Acclaimed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, known for making hard-hitting films like ‘Chandni Bar’, ‘Page 3’, ‘Fashion’ and others, will soon go back in time to tell a story about the Emergency Era in ‘Indu Sarkar’ and the trailer of the film was revealed today.

Starring Kirti Kulhari as the protagonist, ‘Indu Sarkar’ revolves around the declaration of Emergency and how a shy, young woman decides to join an underground movement to resist the government. From what we could see in the trailer, the film is quite hard-hitting and has some powerful dialogues. Apart from Kirti, the film also stars Tata Roy Choudhary, Anupam Kher and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who looks absolutely effective as Sanjay Gandhi while Supriya Vinod plays the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

‘Indu Sarkar’ is slated for a July 28 release.
