Christie’s International Head of Retail for Watches, Reginald Brack, gives an in-depth look at this Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, from circa 1989 with Rolex Presentation Box, Outer Box, Hang Tags, Guarantee Certificate & Pocket Size Rolex Calendar. The reference 5513 was launched in 1962 and ran until about 1990. This is one of the longest running continuously produced references in Rolex's history. This present example is one of the last 5513s made before the reference was discontinued. This watch has a reference 5512 case back, 580 end links, 93150 bracelet.
