Horlicks Oats travel cake is soft sponge cake, made by using simple ingredients and can be stored for few days..
Ingredients:
Horlicks Oats 1 cup
Cocoa Powder 1/2 cup
Milk Powder 1/2 cup
Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
Baking soda pinch
Raisins as required
Sugar Powder 1/2 cup
Condense milk 1/2 cup
Curd 100 grams
Oil 1 tea spoon
Butter as required
Method:
Grind Horlicks oats in a blender to a fine powder.
Then transfer it to a bowl, and season it with cocoa powder, powder sugar, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, whisk it.
Add condense milk to it and whisk it again.
Later take a glass of curd, add water to it and mix well.
Now, pour this mixture to the above bowl and mix to a thick cake batter consistency.
Sprinkle few drops of oil, add raisins and mix well.
Grease cake mold with butter and transfer the cake mixture into the greased mold.
Preheat oven at 180 degrees for about 5 minutes, then bake cake mixture for about 45 minutes.
Horlicks Oats travel cake can be served by cutting them into pieces.
