A perfect combination of leafy vegetables and oats with multiple health benefits and no compromise in taste makes this recipe a must try.
Ingredients: Horlicks Oats 1 cup
Almonds 1 tablespoon
Walnuts 1 tablespoon
Cabbage (shredded) 1/3 cup
Cauliflower (shredded) 1/3 cup
Carrot (grated) 1/3 cup
Butter 3 Cubes
Ginger (finely chopped) 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves (freshly chopped) 1 tea spoon
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) 1/3 bunch
Salt pinch
Water (Boiled) 2 cups
Milk as required
Method:
Dry roast almonds and walnuts, slightly crush them (for garnishing) and keep aside.
Fry shredded cabbage, cauliflower, grated carrot by adding 3 cubes of butter for a minute or two.
Now add chopped ginger, chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves, Horlicks oats and saute well.
Then add a little salt and hot water, let it cook for about 2 minutes and turn the flame off and transfer to a serving bowl.
Milk can be added (choice of individual) on top along with raisins, roasted and crushed almonds and walnuts.
Horlicks Oats With Leafy Vegetables is now ready to serve.
