I call this recipe Misal Usal Pav as it is the combination to two recipes Misal Pav & Sev Usal. I am sharing how one can make big batch of Misal Usal and freeze for later use. Stove or electric pressure cooker helps to save time in the kitchen but regular pot can be used to boil/steam ingredients.

For 4 to 6 Servings, You will need following ingredients and can be multiplied as needed
FOR PRESSURE COOKING:
2 cup moth beans / matki, sprouts I use 1 cup Mung & 1 cup Moth
¼ tsp turmeric(Haldi)
½ tsp salt(Namak)
1 cup water or as needed
FOR MASALA PASTE:
2 tsp oil
2 inch ginger, roughly chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 clove garlic
¼ cup dry coconut / kopra
1 tomato, finely chopped
¼ cup water
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard(rai)
1 tsp jeera / cumin
few curry leaves
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli pwoder
¼ tsp turmeric / haldi
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala / goda masala
small piece jaggery / gud or sugar
½ tsp salt
5 cup water or as needed
FOR SERVING
2 cup farsan / mixture
½ onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

1 lemon, quarter if desired but if tomatoes are sour, skip lemon
