Christie’s International Head of Retail for Watches, Reginald Brack, gives an in-depth look at a Patek Philippe Top Hat, Ref. 1450 from circa 1957. The reference 1450, also known as the "Top Hat," has very unique characteristics such as its hooded lugs and the curved rectangular shape of the case. This particular model comes with a beautiful associated gold bracelet. The Top Hat was in production from 1940 until the 1960s.
