Christie’s International Head of Retail for Watches, Reginald Brack, gives an in-depth look at a Patek Philippe, Ref. 570 from the 1940s. The reference 570 is one of the most appreciated watches by Patek Philippe. The reference 570 was launched in 1938 and was produced until 1970. This model is considered the "big brother" to the smaller reference 96. With a 35mm case, it was considered rather large at the time it was released, but now it would be considered a fairly normal size. This particular example is extremely charismatic.
