Robot 2.0 Movie 2016 Trailer First Look REVIEW - Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar

South superstar Rajinikanth, who was last seen in ‘Kabali’, will be next seen reprising his role as Chitti in Shankar’s ‘2.0’, the sequel to 2010 sci-fi movie ‘Robot’ and the teaser of the film, which was unveiled yesterday at a gala event in Mumbai, impressed the hell out of us.



All that we could make out from the teaser is that Earth is under threat as an evil threat in the form of Dr. Richard (played by Akshay Kumar), a crow-like mutant is about to unleash his darkness on the planet and it is up to Chitti to step in and save the day. The teaser is quite slick, larger than life and looks like the teaser of one of those big-budget Hollywood films. However, unfortunately for us, though the teaser does show a glimpse of the antagonist, we can only see Chitti’s images reflected in some surfaces and not the character or his dialogues. Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay, the film will also star Amy Jackson.



2.0, which is the most expensive Indian film ever made, is slated to release in Diwali next year.
