As promised, the makers of upcoming spy thriller ‘Naam Shabana’ released the trailer of their film today and going by what we saw, cinegoers are in for a real treat when the film releases.

The prequel to ‘Baby’, the film explores the story of intelligence operative Shabana Khan (Taapsee Pannu) and the situation that leads to her recruitment, training and operations as a covert agent. Apart from Taapsee, the trailer also features Manoj Bajpayee (who plays her handler), Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, South star Prithviraj and Akshay Kumar.

The trailer is full of well-executed action scenes, which will remind you of spy flicks from Hollywood and director Shivam Nair has given a realistic touch to the film by avoiding over the top situations, dialogues and stunt sequences.

It is indeed a treat to watch a strong female protagonist and we are sure the film will be a sure hit at the box-office. ‘Naam Shabana’ is slated to release on March 31.
