Jolly LL.B 2 Trailer Review | Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi | Subhash Kapoor

Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen essaying the role of a Lucknow-based lawyer in ‘Jolly LLB 2, unveiled the trailer of the film on his Twitter page today.

From what we could gather from the trailer, Akshay plays Jagdishwar Misra a.k.a Jolly, a mediocre lawyer, who relies more on dramatic antics than law to hold his own in a courtroom. However, things take a turn for the worse when he decides to take up a murder case and locks horns with the veteran Mr. Mathur (Annu Kapoor).
As for the trailer itself, Akshay, who is usually good at humour, somewhat disappointed us this time with his lame jokes. In one scene, he is seen asking a witness if he knows when Salman Khan will get married and though the people in the courtroom are shown laughing, the humour comes across as quite forced. Hopefully, the film will be more interesting than the trailer. Apart from Kumar and Annu Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ also stars Huma Qureshi as Jolly’s love interest and Neha Sharma.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is slated to release on February 10 next year.
