Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh's electrifying bromance along with Priyanka Chopra's oomph in their recently released film, Gunday has managed to get the cash registers ringing by earning Rs 16.12 crore on it's opening day at the domestic box-office.

However, the masala entertainer didn't manage to break the record of Salman Khan's Jai Ho, which earned Rs 17.55 crore on it's foremost day.

Valentine's Day, positive word of mouth and critics reviews worked in the favour of Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial venture as the film performed well in almost all the circuits in India, but it was East Punjab that stood out the best, according to boxofficeindia.

But will the film be able to enter Rs 100 cr club in it's first week? We'll have to wait and watch
