Gunday movie review: Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor's bromance overshadows the sexy Priyanka Chopra
by

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor's much awaited Gunday has hit the theatres and we must say, these boys know how to entertain. Of course, Priyanka Chopra
has a substantial role in Gunday, but it's the boys who win our heart.

Set in the 1970s bangladesh, the film tracks the life of two orphans Bikram and Bala who are inseparable since childhood and grow up to be coal bandits after shifting base to Kolkata. The two best friends soon become the most influential goons in the city. They fall in love with a cabaret dancer Nandita . ACP Satyajeet Sarkar sets out to put an end to their black market business. How Bikram and Bala's friendship survives through all these hurdles forms the rest of the plot.

It's simple but very interesting. You could call it predictable, but enjoyable overall.

All in all, the film backed with effective dialogues, catchy music and great chemistry between the dudes is worth a watch. Ali Abbas Zafar has done a great job with his cast.

This Valentine's it's time to celebrate friendship and not just love. We give Gunday 4 out of 5 stars!
