I simply love them with Aachar(Indian Pickle) and Cucumber Raita(Spicy Yogurt)
Aloo Paratha (Stuffed Spicy shallow fried Mashed Potato Bread) is very popular breakfast among all generations of people across length and breadth of India.. Instead of stuffing however, I thought of preparing it quickly by adding mashed potato and spices directly with flour. This Aloo Partaha is filling and taste yummy when eaten with pickle and yogurt. A must try!!
INGREDIENTS:
11/2 -2 cups whole wheat flour (gheu ka atta)
1 cup mashed boil potatoes (2 medium size or 1 big potatoes)
2 tbsp oil
1 teaspoon salt to taste
1tablespoon coriander cumin powder (dhaniya powder)
1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1teaspoon amchur powder (1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice)
Ginger, garlic, Green chili as per taste
1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves (dhaniya patta/ kothimbir)
2 tbsp Yogurt, if desired
Oil/ghee for roasting paratha
