Renowned Film Critic and Trade Analyst Komal Nahta reviews 'Gabbar Is Back' and 'Sabki Bajegi Band' that released on Friday, May 01, 2015. 'Gabbar Is Back' screenplay has been written by director AR Murugadoss and the dialogues have been penned by Rajat Arora. Akshay Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar give good performances in the film. The songs come as a relief to this otherwise serious drama. The film has received a good opening at the box office and is likely to do well as it is being appreciated by both the masses and the mutiplex audience.
'Sabki Band Bajegi' is a controversial drama that is based on the personal lives of four friends who belong to the film industry. The topics of discussion involve conversations about love, sex, pre-marital sex, affairs and much more. Although the film is an expose of sorts, made on real-life scenarios, yet presented in a fictionalized manner fails to engage the audience long enough and hence might result in the audience losing interest very soon. The technical aspects of the film are all commonplace. The language and dialogues might appeal to college students but will not really work at the box office.
