Renowned Film Critic and Trade Analyst Komal Nahta reviews Tabu and Ajay Devgn starrer 'Drishyam.' The story of the film revolves around a middle class man Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) who is at a loggerhead with an IGP Meera Deshmukh (Tabu). Meera's son,Sameer, has disappeared and Salgaonkar family is the primary suspect. After Sameer's dead body is found, Meera is convinced that Salgaonkars have murdered her son. 'Visuals Can Be Deceptive,' reads the tagline, so it remains to be seen who the real culprit is. The story has novelty. It is engaging, engrossing and interesting. While the film is quite involving in the first half, the pace picks up after interval. Nishikant Kamat's direction does justice to the script, whereas Bhardwaj's music doesn't suit the popular demand.
