Renowned Film Critic and Trade Analyst Komal Nahta reviews 'Brothers' starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra. The film follows the story of two estranged brothers, David (Akshay Kumar) and Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) who are fated to fight each each other in a tournament. The film is first action film in Indian cinema to feature Mixed Martial Arts. It is an official remake of the Hollywood film 'Warrior.' While the first half of the film moves with slow pace, the film picks up after interval. The fights are not just exciting but also emotional because the writers have juxtaposed the breathtaking action with a lot of emotions. Nahta also reviews the biopic, 'Gour Hari Dastaan The Freedom File.' The film is the story Gour Hari Das, the unsung freedom fighter of India. Vinay Pathak is seen in the lead role alongside actress Konkana Sen Sharma. By its very nature, the drama is heartwrenching, however, the story and the screenplay fails to bring out the sufferings of Gour Hari Das. Overall, the film is slow and laid - back.
