Mini masala idli/ Masala idli is a spicy Podi Idli and Masala Mini idli. Mini Idli is super fun to eat
Ghee Podi Idli
Ingredients:
Idly Rice - 1 Cup
Urad - ⅓ Cup
Methi Seeds - ¼ tsp
Toor Dal - 1 tb spn
Chana Dal - 1 tb spn
Urad Dal - 1 tb spn
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Red Chillies - 6
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - ½ tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Coriander Leaves - 1 sprig
Salt - To Taste
Method:
Take 1 cup of Idli Rice, ⅓ cup of Urad Dal, ¼ tsp Methi seeds
Soak them For 4 Hours, Grind them into batter
Ferment them for 6 hours
Using mini idli plate make mini idli
Steam it for 7-8 Minutes
In a pan, Add Toor Dal
Add 1 tb spn Urad Dal
Add 1 tb spn Chana Dal
Add 1 tsp Black pepper
Add 1 tsp Sesame seeds
Add 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Add 6 Red Chillies
Dry Roast till nice aroma comes out of it
Blend it into coarse powder
Take a pan, Add Ghee
Add ½ tsp of Hing
Add 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
Add 2 tb spn of Gun Powder
Add Mini Idli
Adjust Salt to taste
Mix them well & fry it for a minute
Finish it off with coriander leaves
These aromatic Idlis are bites of Happiness
Nice Aromatic Ghee Podi Idli are ready to serve
Tips:
Sesame seeds Oil also can be used for this
Mix Veg Pops & Ghee Podi Idli
Ingredients:
Take pan
Add 1 tb spn of Oil
Add 1 tsp Mustard seeds
Add 1 cup of Sooji
Add a pinch of Mixed Herbs
Add 1 Grated Carrot
Add Water & Cook it
Add little Salt
Take a pan
Add some Butter Cubes
Add finely 3-4 chopped Garlic
Add Crushed Pepper
Add Salt to Taste
Add Chopped Green Chillies
Add chopped Greens
Add 1 cup of Grated Cheese
Add little Semolina Mix
Allow them to cool down
Stuff the Carrot mix with the Greens Mix
Roll the balls in the flour
Dip them in Slurry
Roll them Bread Crumbs
Fry them in medium hot Oil
