केंद्रीय जल आयोग ने कहा कि आज सुबह आठ बजे यमुना का जल स्तर 208.48 मीटर तक पहुंच गया। एमसीडी के मुताबिक, बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति के कारण दिल्ली के सिविल लाइंस जोन के निचले इलाकों में 10, शहादरा में 7 स्कूल आज बंद रहेंगे।
भारी बारिश और हथिनीकुंड बैराज से पानी छोड़े जाने के बाद यमुना नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ने से शहर के कई इलाके बाढ़ और जलभराव की चपेट में हैं।

The Yamuna water level reached 208.48 metres at 8 am today, Central Water Commission said. As per MCD, 10 schools in low-lying areas of Delhi's Civil Lines zone, 7 in Shahadra will be closed today due to flood-like situation. Several areas of the city are reeling under flood and water-logging as the water level of river Yamuna continues to rise following heavy rainfall and the release of water from Hathnikund Barrage.
