Need quick easy 5 min side dish. Try this curried cole slaw recipe. Super easy and so tasty. Great with roti or phulka.
Recipe/ Ingredients
2 cups Cole Slaw- chopped cabbage/ carrots
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 cup chopped onions
Salt per taste
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp raw peanuts
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp grated coconut or dried unsweetened coconut
1 tbsp lemon juice
- Heat oil and fry mustard seeds.
- Add onions, peanuts and spices . Mix well. Add coleslaw. Fry for 2 mins.
- Add curry powder. Mix well. Add coconut and lemon juice to finish off and serve with Rotis.
