Breaking News: लोकसभा स्पीकर पद को लेकर NDA सरकार और विपक्ष के बीच माथापच्ची तेज़ हो गई है। सूत्रों के हवाले से खबर है कि बीजेपी लोकसभा स्पीकर पद अपने पास ही रखेगी और इसके लिए कई नामों पर चर्चा चल रही है लेकिन अभी तक कोई नाम तय नहीं हो पाया है। 24 जून से 18वीं लोकसभा के पहले सत्र की शुरुआत होने जा रही है और 26 जून को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी लोकसभा अध्यक्ष के चुनाव का प्रस्ताव पेश करेंगे. लोकसभा में उपाध्यक्ष के पद की मांग पर अड़े विपक्ष ने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर सरकार किसी विपक्षी नेता को उपाध्यक्ष बनाने पर सहमत नहीं हुई तो वे लोकसभा अध्यक्ष पद के लिए चुनाव लड़ेंगे.
