Om Birla's name is also among the names which the government is considering for the Lok Sabha Speaker. The election of the speaker is to be held on June 26. According to sources, apart from Ombirla, 2-3 names are also being considered. Om Birla was the Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2019 to 2024 during the 17th Lok Sabha.

Breaking News: Lok Sabha Speaker Post Update - लोकसभा स्पीकर चुनाव पर सूत्रों के मुताबिक NDA सरकार और BJPस्पीकर के लिए ओम बिरला पर फिर भरोसा जता सकती है. सरकार लोकसभा स्पीकर के लिए जिन नामों पर विचार कर रही है उनमें एक नाम ओम बिरला का भी है. 26 जून को स्पीकर का चुनाव होना है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक ओमबिरला के अलावा 2-3 नामों पर भी विचार हो रहा है. 17वीं लोकसभा के दौरान 2019 से 2024 तक ओम बिरला लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष थे.
