महाराष्ट्र के कोल्हापुर में विजय संकल्प रैली के दौरान केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने दावा किया देश अब UCC पर आगे बढ़ चुका है . उनके इस बयान पर सियासी घमासान मच गया. क्योंकि अमित शाह ने जो संकेत दिए, उससे ये अटकलें लगाई जा रही हैं कि 2024 के चुनाव से पहले बीजेपी बड़ा मास्टर स्ट्रोक लगाते हुए UCC लागू कर सकती है.
