Shraddha Kapoor On Replacing Sonakshi Sinha In Haseena Parkar

Shraddha Kapoor is getting rave reviews for her terrific and fierce look in her upcoming film Haseena Parkar, which is based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister but do you know that she wasn’t the first choice to play the part.

During the film’s trailer launch, director Apoorva Lakhia revealed that initially, he wanted to cast Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. At the trailer launch, when asked if Kapoor was the original choice, he said, “First we had approached Sonakshi Sinha but our film kept getting delayed because John Abraham got injured during Force 2 and their schedule altered."

“Then I went to Sonakshi and told her that it's not working out and we both should move on and we both agreed. The next person I had in my mind was Shraddha. She is very innocent, she is a daughter in a family of 12 and it will be interesting to see both the siblings on screen together,” he further added.

Shraddha will be seen sharing screen space with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor, who is playing Dawood, for the very first time in Haseena Parkar.
