We had reported a few days ago how Sonakshi Sinha, who marked her Bollywood debut with Dabangg, may not star in the third edition of the superhit franchise and now, we hear that the makers have finally locked the female lead for Dabangg 3.

If reports are to be believed, then Parineeti Chopra will play Salman Khan's love interest in the much-awaited film. Parineeti was keen to work with Salman in Sultan, however, things didn't fall into place but it seems that Pari's dream of starring opposite the Dabangg Khan is all set to come true.

Parineeti was recently spotted having dinner with Salman Khan and ace tennis player Sania Mirza at a popular restaurant in Mumbai. The trio chit-chatted over dinner and spent some quality time together.

Reportedly, Salman is upset with Sona as she refused to star in his brother Arbaaz Khan's Dolly Ki Doli and buzz has it that the duo also had a showdown at Salman's sister Arpita Khan's wedding reception.
