Mushroom Do Pyaza Recipe (Indian Vegetarian), Mushroom Curry recipe

Learn how to cook Mushroom Do Pyaza which is a flavorful Indian vegetarian Mushroom Curry.

(Serves 3-4)

1 lb Mushrooms
1 large onion
2 small chopped tomatoes
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Crushed Coriander seeds
Salt per taste
1 tsp Red chilli pwd
1 tsp tumeric
2 tbsp oil for cooking
1 tbsp oil for frying onions
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Dried Fenugreek leaves (Kasoori methi)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Cilantro and Greens onions for garnish

1. Thinly slice and fry your onions. Set it aside
2. Make onion paste and fry it with salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli pwd and turmeric
3. After 3 mins, add mushrooms. Cover and cook for 5-6 mins.
4. Add tomatoes and cover to cook until tender.
5. Add Kasoori methi and garam masala and mix well.
6. Add fried onions, cilantro and green onions as a garnish. Serve with roti or parantha
