Australia will have to win this match to stay alive in the 3-match T20I series.
India take on Australia in the second Twenty20 International (T20I) at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday. It is the second match of their ongoing three-match T20I series which India lead by 1-0 after thrashing the hosts by 37 runs in the opening match at Adelaide. Meanwhile, Australia who have never been relatively good T20 side will want to change the scenario by winning Friday’s fixture and thereby stay alive in the series. After losing the One-Day International (ODI) series, MS Dhoni and Co will surely want to take the T20I series to their name. Moreover, it will be a great start to their preparation for the upcoming ICC World T20 2016, which is being hosted by India in March.
