Maharashtra political crisis live updates: As the political turmoil continues in the state, more MLAs are expected to join Eknath Shinde in Assam today (June 24). The development comes as 37 rebel MLAs camping in Guwahati declared Eknath Shinde as their group leader in the legislature in a letter to Maharashtra Assembly's Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal. As per ANI, Eknath Shinde has the support of 44 MLAs so far, out of which 37 are from Shiv Sena and 7 Independents.

विधायकों और सांसदों के बाद अब शिवसेना पार्षदों का भी रुख एकनाथ शिंदे की तरफ है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक ठाणे महानगर पालिका के 60 शिवसेना पार्षद एकनाथ शिंदे के साथ जाने के लिए तैयार है. ऐसा इसलिए कहा जा रहा है क्योंकि पिछले 2 दिनो से शिवसेना नेताओ ने पार्षदों और जिला पदाधिकारियों से कॉन्टेक्ट करने की कोशिश की है, लेकिन अधिकतर पार्षदों ने अपने फोन बंद रखे हुए है. तकरीबन 30 सालों से ठाणे नागपालिका पर शिवसेना का कब्जा रहा है.
