नीतीश कुमार की JDU और बीजेपी के बीच गठबंधन टूटने का सिर्फ एक ही कारण है और वो है अस्तित्व का संकट. बाकी सारी वजह इस अस्तित्व की लड़ाई में शामिल हैं. कहते हैं कि समुंदर में बड़ी मछली छोटी मछली को निगल जाती है उसे जीने नहीं देती. बस यही डर नीतीश कुमार को भी था. उन्हें लग रहा था कि बीजेपी धीरे-धीरे राजनीति से उनका वजूद खत्म कर देगी.
