Shankar is trying to impress Rajni by pointing out that she will not get anyone better than him in the whole world. Doing what he does best - dancing - he also gets into an impromptu competition with Rajni. Being a thief, you also see his fear of cops during the song. In the end, he manages to impress everyone present at the restaurant, but is Rajni impressed?
Boxer is about Dharma (Danny Denzongpa) who works as a boxer. Circumstances force Dharma to take to drinking and ignore his pregnant wife, Savitri (Tanuja) and son Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty). In order to make ends meet, Shankar resorts to stealing and is arrested and sentenced to jail, where he meets a boxing manager Tony Braganza (Parikshit Sahni). After his release he starts to train with him and eventually challenges the reigning champion Raghu Raj (Sharat Saxena). Rati Agnihotri (Rajni) plays Shankar's love interest in the film.
