A romantic song that shows the young carefree lovers, Shankar and Rajni, talking about taking their relationship to the next level. Shankar's younger brother is the co-conspirator in helping them meet secretly.
Boxer is about Dharma (Danny Denzongpa) who works as a boxer. Circumstances force Dharma to take to drinking and ignore his pregnant wife, Savitri (Tanuja) and son Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty). In order to make ends meet, Shankar resorts to stealing and is arrested and sentenced to jail, where he meets a boxing manager Tony Braganza (Parikshit Sahni). After his release he starts to train with him and eventually challenges the reigning champion Raghu Raj (Sharat Saxena). Rati Agnihotri (Rajni) plays Shankar's love interest in the film.
