Deepika Padukone's First Red Carpet Appearance At Cannes 2018 Is Boring

It seems Deepika Padukone's stylist learnt nothing from her recent Met Gala debacle. We thought that DeePee will shut up her critics with her red carpet appearance at Cannes Film Festival 2018 but she played safe, yet again.

DeePee wore a white gown from Zuhair Murad's bridal collection for the premiere of Sorry Angel and it seems that the actress took the film's title too seriously as she arrived looking like an angel. The lace gown hugged her perfectly and its plunging neckline amped up the oomph factor. The sleeveless gown had a long cape and she teamed it with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

She sure looked gorgeous but right from her outfit of choice to her make up and hairstyle, it was all very predictable and boring. We have seen several celebs, right from Kim Kardashian to Jennifer Lopez to our very own Priyanka Chopra, rocking a lace gown so, this look failed to make us go wow.

That said the Padmaavat star certainly looked magnificent on the red carpet.
