Low Calorie, healthy and flavorful Cucumber and Beet Salad can brighten up any Indian meal.
(Chukandar aur Kheere ka salad)
Ingredients:
1 cup julienne/ cut in thin long strands Cucumber
1 cup julienne (or shredded) beets
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper pwd
1/2 tsp roasted cumin pwd
2 tbsp roasted peanuts
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Mix all the ingredients well and serve with your Indian meal or make a big bowl of salad and enjoy it for lunch.
