जिस दिन से ऐलान हुआ है कि 28 मई को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी नए संसद भवन का उद्घाटन करेंगे, उसी दिन से विपक्ष लगातार केंद्र सरकार पर हमला कर रहा है। विपक्ष इस मांग पर अड़ा है कि नई संसद का उद्घाटन राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू से करवाया जाए। 20 दलों ने तो बाकायदा बहिष्कार का ऐलान कर दिया है और अब ये मुद्दा सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक पहुंच गया है। वहीं गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने विपक्ष पर पलटवार करते हुए कहा है कि देश की जनता विपक्ष की इच्छा पर निर्भर नहीं है।
