On Wednesday, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the Uttar Pradesh government for initiating a probe against senior IAS officer Mohammad Iftikharuddin. Kanpur Police Commissioner Asim Kumar Arun had ordered an inquiry on a 6-year old video showing the IAS officer allegedly advocating the benefits of converting to Islam.


बुधवार को एआईएमआईएम अध्यक्ष असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी मोहम्मद इफ्तिखारुद्दीन के खिलाफ जांच शुरू करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार पर निशाना साधा। कथित रूप से इस्लाम धर्म अपनाने के लाभों की वकालत करते हुए एक 6 साल पुराना वीडियो सोमवार को वायरल हो गया, जिसके बाद कानपुर के पुलिस आयुक्त असीम कुमार अरुण ने जांच के आदेश दिए।
