Anushka Sharma, who is playing a jazz singer in BOMBAY VELVET, had a separate call time on the sets from the rest of the team.

Most of the film has been shot in Sri Lanka and if Ranbir's call time was at 9.00 in the morning, for Anushka it used to be6.00 am. It would start with her fitting into the costume and having her trials. That would be followed by a hair sitting to get the look that fits into the character.

Interestingly, Niharika Khan has designed almost 140 costumes for Anushka Sharma in the film.

Staring Anushka and Ranbir Kpoor, the film marks the debut of Karan Johar as an antagonist.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is set to release on 28th November
