According to the grapevine, Shahrukh Khan might star in Anurag Kashyap's upcoming project. And while there have been rumours about SRK playing the lead role in Kashyap's Alvin Kalicharan, Kashyap has written another script for King Khan.

Apparently it was Anushka Sharma who heard the script first after which she told the Bombay Velvet filmmaker that Mr Khan will be perfect for this role. As per sources "She has developed a great working equation with Kashyap since they started working on their film, Bombay Velvet. When she heard about his new script, she thought that Shahrukh was perfect to play the lead in the film. That's why she organised a meeting between the two,"
