Superstar Aamir Khan was keen to show 'Dhoom 3′ to his family and friends, before the official release of the movie. But was denied the request by Yash Raj films as they felt that to show the movie before its official release will affect the suspense factor of the movie.

As per sources, It is common knowledge that YRF avoids screenings or press shows of their movies, but there have been exceptions like a preview show held of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger' and also a premier held of SRK and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', so why was it that Aamir was denied the privily?
