In this program, Mahatria, in association with Rotary, raised INR 1 crore towards ‘Skill Development and Creation of Jobs’.
“Charity keeps a poor person poor.
Education and employment alone can lift the poor from their poverty.”

Mahatma Gandhi, Steve Jobs, Colonel Sanders, and even Jesus Christ were all ordinary human beings before they went on to change the world. Be it politics, business, sports, spirituality, or any other field, once you are awakened to the potential within you, you can change the world, Mahatria points out. Even if you tap into that potential in your later years, even if it is only for a few years, it still has the power to make a difference.

A single human being who has lived their life well can change the world.

Mahatma Gandhi was an ordinary barrister for a long time before he recognized his potential and changed the face of the world. An ordinary school teacher, Mother Teresa, turned the world around in three decades. Startups that began in garages, have gone on to become world-famous brands. Colonel Sanders began the famous multi-billion-dollar KFC restaurant chain in his 60s.

Be it politics, business, sports, spirituality, or any other field, once you are awakened to the potential within you, you can change the world, Mahatria points out. Even if you tap into that potential in your later years, even if it is only for a few years, it still has the power to make a
difference.

Your Past Is Not Your Future

No matter what you have done in your past, it is insignificant to what you can achieve in the future, Mahatria says. Only what is to come ahead matters.

Until the age of 30, Jesus Christ was simply the son of a carpenter. After that, he delivered his first sermon. Prophet Muhammed heard the call of Allah only when he was 40 years old.
Steve Jobs was ousted from the very company that he founded. Yet, he went on to build a technology that the world had never seen before. His products became a technological benchmark to the world. Abraham Lincoln’s first success came at the age of 52.
Age is not a determinant of potential. A lot of people bloom late in life, Mahatria says. They create things in their 30s, or 40s, even 60s, and revolutionize the world. That is the power of belief.

That belief needs to come from within. Something inside you should prompt you to believe that you are not just another statistical entity, or one more among the crowd. You can come from anywhere, have the most-humble beginnings, yet, your actions can make the world take notice of you.

Be an Inspiration

There needs to be a positive restlessness within you, Mahatria emphasizes. You need to break away from your comfort zone and not stagnate because you are satisfied with where you are.
