The Gandhi Murder is a 2019 historical political thriller film directed by Karim Traïdia and Pankaj Sehgal. It examines the events leading to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.[2] It stars Stephen Lang, Luke Pasqualino, Om Puri and Vinnie Jones.
Three Indian police officers get to know of a sinister plan to assassinate Mahatma Gandhi. The officers face a race against time to stop this evil conspiracy and save the Father of the Nation.


Set in the fraught aftermath of India’s independence from Britain and the partition of British India into India and Pakistan, the film follows the conflicted — and failed — efforts of three disparate Indian police officers (Stephen Lang, Luke Pasqualino and Om Puri) to act upon intel suggesting that Hindu militants were planning to kill Gandhi (Jesus Sans), a committed Hindu, for his tolerance of Muslims
