उत्तर प्रदेश के बाद अब असम सरकार भी पूरे जोश में दिखाई दे रही है. असम सरकार ने भी रियासत के मदरसों से जानकारी मांगी है. इसके तहत असम के प्राइवेट मदरसों को दिसंबर 2022 तक अपने इदारों के बारे में सभी जानकारी रियासती सरकार को मुहय्या करवाने के लिए कह दिया है. वहीं अब असम में चलने वाले 2 हज़ार 500 मदरसों पर ख़ास प्राइवेट मैजेटमेंट के ज़रिए सख़्त नज़र रखी जाएगी. ऐसा इसलिए किया जा रहा है ताकि जिहादी के तौर पर टीचर बने लोग मज़हबी जज़्बात (धार्मिक भावनाएं) भड़काने का काम न कर सकें. बीते कुछ महीनों में असम में ऐसे कई मालात सामने आए हैं जहां बांग्लादेशी शहरियों ने मदरसों की आड़ में फ़र्ज़ी तरीक़े से टीचर बनकर ग़ैर क़ानूनी कामों को अंजाम दिया है.

In Assam, the government has taken a tough decision to monitor private madrassas. Under this, the state government will monitor the functioning of about 2500 private madrassas. This step has been taken so that no jihadi can enter these madrassas. In fact, in the last few months, such cases have been seen in madrassas of Assam. Some jihadis had joined these madrassas as teachers.
