Bollywood mother-daughter duo Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan celebrated Mothers' Day by extending their support to Clinic Plus' new initiative to educate the girl child, in association with Plan India.

This initiative aims to ensure daughters continue their education and do not drop out from school. It aims to reach out to mothers and aid in building awareness of the importance of their daughters' education, and also strengthening their capacity to support it, by at least one more year.

At the event, singers Kavita Seth and Amit Trivedi also launched Clinic Plus' anthem for the initiative and performed live. While the lyrics of the anthem has been penned by lyricist Gulzar, Amit has composed it and has sung it along with Kavita Seth. The event was hosted by TV actress and host Ragini Khanna and her mother Kaamini Khanna
