Sayani Gupta, who played the role of Khanum in Shonali Bose's Margarita With A Straw, in conversation with Mr. Komal Nahta. The young actress speaks about her acting career so far, how the acting bug bit her, her experiences of working on the film alongside powerhouse performer Kalki Koechlin and her next plan of action in Bollywood. Sayani is a product of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), the landmark film school in the whole country and has done a 3-year-long course at the institute. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has been practising the dance form for 17 years. Sayani will be next seen in Leena Yadav's 'Parched' playing a pivotal role.
