भारत और कनाडा के बीच तनाव को लेकर विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने अपनी बात एकदम स्पष्ट कर दी है। उन्होंने यूएन की बैठक में शामिल होने के बाद पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए कहा कि अगर कनाडा ने आरोप लगाने से पहले या बाद में भी निज्जर की हत्या को लेकर कोई सबूत या संबंधित जानकारी दी होती तो हम इसपर जरूर विचार करते। जयशंकर ने कहा, हमने कनाडा के आरोपों पर स्पष्ट बता दिया है कि यह भारत सरकार की नीति नहीं है। वहीं पत्रकारों ने जब उनसे फाइव आइज अलायंस की खुफिया रिपोर्ट के बारे में पूछा तो विदेश मंत्री ने कहा, आप गलत आदमी से सवाल कर रहे हैं। ना तो मैं फाइव आइज अलायंस में हूं और ना ही एफबीआई का सदस्य हूं।

When journalists asked him about the intelligence report of Five Eyes Alliance, the Foreign Minister said, you are questioning the wrong person. I am neither in the Five Eyes Alliance nor a member of the FBI.
