आये दिन ये अटकलें लगाई जाती है की रुस युक्रेन युद्द में कहीं न्युक्लियर युद्द की स्थिति उत्पन्न नहीं हो जाएं । जहां युद्द थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है वहीं रुस के राष्ट्रपति के लिए निर्णय लेना मुश्किल होता जा रहा है । वहीं एक तरफ मोदी सरकार की विदेश नीति को संयुक्त राज्य की खुफिया एजेंसी सीआईए से सराहना मिली है। सेंट्रल इंटेलिजेंस एजेंसी (सीआईए) के प्रमुख बिल बर्न्स ने पीएम मोदी की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि परमाणु हथियारों के इस्तेमाल पर उनके विचारों का रूस पर प्रभाव पड़ा और यूक्रेन युद्ध के संदर्भ में एक वैश्विक आपदा को रोका जा सकता था। सीआईए के निदेशक बर्न्स ने कहा कि चीनी प्रधानमंत्री शी जिनपिंग और पीएम मोदी ने परमाणु हथियारों के इस्तेमाल को लेकर अपनी चिंता जताई है और यह उपयोगी साबित हो सकता था।
