Richa Chadda To Star In Biopic Of South Porn Star Shakeela!

A few years back, Vidya Balan had starred in The Dirty Picture which was based on the life of South sensation Silk Smitha, known for starring in several adult films and now, years later, Richa Chadha is attempting something similar.

We have learned that Richa is gearing up to star in a film based on the life of actress Shakeela, one of the biggest actresses of the 90s era from Kerala who acted in several adult films in various South languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Richa’s spokesperson stated, “The film is the story of Shakeela, one of the most famous actors from Malayalam cinema from the 90s who rose to a spectacular amount of fame. The film’s script was exciting and is a great story to tell and the story will make for a great watch for the audience. The preparations will begin soon and the film should be going on floors in end April or May.”

To be directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the untitled biopic will hit screens in early 2019.
