Rudra barges into Shantanu's room and thanks him for having rescued Samrat, and saved Paro's life. As Rudra and Paro step out, Paro slips and Rudra prevents her from falling. Seeing this, Shantanu says that he is not able to bear this love and closeness. Sunehri hears this and tells Shantanu that she knows the reason for his jealousy, which is that he does not have anyone of his with him. Next morning, Shatabdi makes halwa for everyone but Sumer and Mohini refuse to have it. On the breakfast table, Shantanu gives a note to Sunehri asking her to meet him after one hour exactly.
