Thakur Virendra Singh's two sons Suraj and Prakash are born with a golden spoon. Suraj falls in love with their Munshi, Din Dayal's daughter, Shobhna. When this news spreads in the air, Suraj's mother Ratna opposes this tooth and nail, as she wants her son to get married to a much wealthier girl. But when Prakash falls in love with Kiran, she approves of her instantly.
