मोदी सरकार एक नए प्रस्ताव के तहत ‘जम्मू-कश्मीर पुनर्गठन अधिनियम-2019’में संशोधन करने जा रही है. -इसके तहत जम्मू-कश्मीर असेंबली में सीटें रिजर्व करने का प्रस्ताव है -प्रस्तावित संशोधन के तहत ‘कश्मीरी प्रवासियों’के लिए दो सीटें और POK यानी पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर के विस्थापितों के लिए एक सीट रिजर्व की जा सकेंगी । -सरकार के इस कदम से कश्मीरी पंडितों की बड़ी संख्या वाले ‘कश्मीरी प्रवासियों’ और POK के विस्थापितों के विकास, सामाजिक और आर्थिक तरक्की का रास्ता खुलेगा और उनकी सुरक्षा और बेहतर ढंग से हो सकेगी.
