प्रयागराज में होने वाले महाकुंभ को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हो गया है. कुछ संन्यासियों ने मुस्लिम विक्रेताओं को मेले में दुकान लगाने से रोकने की मांग की है. उन्होंने दुकानदारों के आधार कार्ड की जांच भी शुरू कर दी है. संन्यासियों का कहना है कि जब मक्का-मदीना में हिंदुओं को प्रवेश नहीं मिलता, तो कुंभ में मुस्लिमों को क्यों अनुमति दी जाए. हालांकि, सरकार की ओर से ऐसी कोई गाइडलाइन जारी नहीं की गई है. यह विवाद धार्मिक सद्भाव पर सवाल खड़े कर रहा है.

A controversy has arisen regarding the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj. Some sanyasis have demanded to stop Muslim vendors from setting up shops in the fair. They have also started checking the Aadhar cards of shopkeepers. The sanyasis say that when Hindus are not allowed entry in Mecca-Medina, then why should Muslims be allowed in Kumbh. However, no such guideline has been issued by the government. This controversy is raising questions on religious harmony.
