Chandrayaan-3 Soft Landing : चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी धुव्र पर सबसे पहले उतरने की भारत- रूस की होड़ अब इकतरफा हो चुकी है. रूस का लूना- 24 अंतरिक्ष यान सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग के प्रयास में चंद्रमा पर रविवार को क्रैश हो गया. अब दुनियाभर की निगाहें भारत के चंद्रयान-3 पर लगी हैं. इसरो ने रविवार को कहा कि उसने चंद्रयान-3 मिशन के ‘लैंडर मॉड्यूल’ (एलएम) को कक्षा में थोड़ा और नीचे सफलतापूर्वक पहुंचा दिया है. इसरो ने कहा कि लैंडर (विक्रम) और रोवर (प्रज्ञान) से युक्त लैंडर मॉड्यूल के 23 अगस्त को शाम 6 बजकर 4 मिनट पर चंद्रमा की सतह पर उतरने की उम्मीद है.
लैंडर माड्यूल प्रस्तावित ‘सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग’ से पहले अंदरूनी जांच की प्रक्रिया से गुजरेगा. इससे पहले, इसरो ने कहा था कि मॉड्यूल 23 अगस्त को शाम पांच बजकर 47 मिनट पर चंद्रमा की सतह पर उतरेगा.

Russia's Luna-24 spacecraft crashed on the Moon on Sunday while attempting a soft landing. Now the eyes of the world are on India's Chandrayaan-3. ISRO said on Sunday that it has successfully brought the 'Lander Module' (LM) of the Chandrayaan-3 mission a little lower in the orbit. ISRO said that the lander module consisting of lander (Vikram) and rover (Pragyan) is expected to land on the lunar surface on August 23 at 6.4 pm.
The lander module will undergo internal testing before the proposed 'soft landing'. Earlier, ISRO had said that the module will land on the lunar surface on August 23 at 5.47 pm.
